What we have done: This job was a favourite amongst the team due to its location and wow factor. With 1,500 square metres of first-class food experiences and open from dawn 'til late, Mercado is the jewel in the crown of the King Street retail and dining precinct. A Dynalite lighting control system was used to provide complete adjustability of the lighting installation and DALI dimming of all fittings allowed the client to achieve the exact feel he was after. Hundreds of meters of LED strip was installed to each shelf of each joinery unit to add to the high end feel. New switchboards, power and communications infrastructure was also installed to suit the restaurant and retail spaces.
The project has brought about fresh, contemporary facilities to the club, including major renovations to the entry foyer, renovation and extension of the gaming area, demolition of the Sports Bar and creation of a new Sports Bar, new deck area, new offices and car-park modifications. The project was completed in December 2017.
Logistics during the construction phase were planned so the old Sports Bar would continue to operate while the new build was being completed around it. Once the new Sports Bar was finished and open to patrons, demolition and the renovation of the old bar commenced which is now the foyer area.
As a separate project, a new canteen was constructed and completed ahead of schedule. This was also a complete design and construct project
Aspley Hornets Football Club
Brisbane International Airport Plaza Premium Lounge is now open. 240 Electrical worked closely with an offshore client to complete this as a design and construct project. It includes specialized designer lighting, C-Bus Lighting Control and further integration with international airport services.

20-28 Discovery Dr, Helensvale
Stage 1 of the Club Helensvale Carpark is now complete. It is now open with over 130 additional car spaces.
On completion this will give Club Helensvale a reasonable sized car park, to a total of 291 car park spaces. It is estimated to meet parking demands for at least the next five years.

The Redcliffe RSL Project consisted of an Extension adding a new Car Park, Indoor & Outdoor Bistros and Stage Area. We also completely Refurbished the Entry Foyer, Pokies Area and Admin Offices. Many of the Light Fittings were bespoke custom made items requiring a great deal of care to install. This job was also challenging as the Club remained completely open and functional throughout requiring night shift and careful coordination with the builder and Club
